The 4M2011 submission site is now closed. The peer review process will commence soon. All authors will receive an e-mail informing them of the papers they have been allocated to review. Green Paper on the future of EU funding for Research and Innovation
This Green Paper seeks to launch a debate on how the aims of attracting more applicants, making life easier for reseachers and innovators, and getting better results from EU funding can be achieved. Members of the 4M Association, and other readers of this Bulletin, have a lot of experience of EU-funded projects. The EU are therefore keen to receive your views on how to do this and so they have provided a number of ways to provide your feedback. Speak now!
Summer School in Micro Mechanical System Design & Manufacturing
The dates for this year's Summer School at DTU are announced. It commences on 20th June 2011, for two weeks. A limited number of bursaries are available to 4M member organisations. Deadline for Registration is May 19th. You can read about previous summer schools here.
New Book on Optical Techniques
A new book entitled Optical Measurement of Surface Topography, featuring contributions from some top researchers in the field and edited by Richard Leach of NPL, has just been published.
